Ideal Image Sizes
The ideal image sizes for the ideal outcome using Elara:
- Thumbnails: These are the images that show up on the blog feed. Make sure all featured images are at least 690 x 900 pixels.
- Slider / Banner: Any images that appear in the slider are automatically resized to 1470 x 680 pixels, so please make sure images that are uploaded are larger than that and ideally in the same aspect ratio.
In order to be consistent throughout, the best image size to upload would be 1400 x 1800 (it would automatically cater to the image thumbnails and the theme will automatically resize it to fit the right spots). You will need separate images for the slider, since they are horizontal (rather than the vertical, portrait mode thumbnails for posts).
