Static Front Page - Remove Recent Posts

In order to remove the recent posts from your home page, please create a new page (for example "Home").

Now go to Settings > Reading and set this page as the front page. See  this for more information.

Once this static page is set up, you will no longer see the recent posts on your home page. However, you'll be seeing the title of the page "Home" which you can hide by using this custom CSS in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:
