Post Format: Video - YouTube & Vimeo (Pro only)

Kale Pro 1.3+ supports video format posts. You can use YouTube or Vimeo (version 2.5+) video URLs to create video posts.

On the post edit screen, choose the "Video" format to display a special box where you can enter the YouTube video link, for example https://www.youtube.com/embed/u_Gz2aUQ7Bs.

Kale Pro 2.5+ does not require the embed URL. You can directly use the main YouTube URL, such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_Gz2aUQ7Bs

If not using version 2.5+, please make sure this is the embed link and not the main video link. See below for details.

Step 1: On the video you want to embed, click the "Share" button.

Step 2: On the pop up that shows up, click "Embed".

Step 3: Now copy the link that appears after the "src=" in the Embed Video code. This is the link that you'll use in the Kale - Video Options field.

This will create a video post on the front end, which can be played directly from the blog feed.
