Front Page - Featured Posts / Pages

Under Appearance > Customize > Front Page > Featured Posts / Pages, select whether to show “Featured Posts / Pages” on the home page. You can choose whether you want to show posts or pages (Pages are a pro only feature). 

If you select “Show” for this section, you will be presented with three options where you can select the posts or pages (pro only) that you want to display in this area.
