Menu Settings - Main/Parent Node for Dropdown Menus

By default, “#” is assigned as the link / URL for all parent nodes for dropdown menus. Clicking on the main node opens the sub menu, and does not direct the user away from the page to another URL.

However, in some cases it is desirable to assign a URL to the main node – the dropdown menu will open on hover, and on click the user will be taken to the URL assigned. To enable this behavior, toggle the Enable Dropdown Menu Parent Nodes setting on under Appearance > Customize > Menus > Kale Menu Settings.

Note: This feature is only available in versions 1.8+ (Pro) / 1.3+ (Free).
