Banner
Set up a banner under Appearance > Header Image. You can upload an image of your choice to show it on the top of your front page. You can enter a heading and description.
In order to show the banner on the front page, you might need to change a relevant setting under Appearance > Front Page > Banner / Slider to "Banner". This will immediately show you the preview of how the banner looks like on the front end.
